Privacy Policy

What information this static website may process and the choices available to visitors.

Effective: 23 July 2026 · This policy covers burnhamrio.co.uk.

Scope and controller information

The Burnham Rio Editorial Team publishes this website and handles privacy enquiries through the public repository channel on our contact page. Do not include casino passwords, payment-card numbers, identity documents or other highly sensitive information in a public issue; request a private reply channel first.

Information collected automatically

The website is delivered as static files and does not currently provide accounts, comments, a newsletter, advertising pixels or an embedded contact form. The hosting provider may nevertheless process standard server information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, referring page and security events. This information may be needed to deliver the service, prevent abuse and diagnose errors. Hosting-provider retention and access controls depend on the production platform selected at deployment.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not intentionally set analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies in this release. The mobile menu uses only the current page state and does not save a visitor identifier. External services reached through links may set their own cookies under their own policies. If analytics, consent management, embedded media or affiliate tracking is introduced later, this policy and an appropriate consent interface will be updated before those tools are enabled.

Information you choose to provide

If you submit a GitHub issue, the information becomes subject to GitHub’s account and privacy settings and may be publicly visible. Provide only what is necessary to explain a correction or technical problem. We may use the information to investigate the request, respond, preserve an editorial record and prevent repeated abuse. Public issues may remain available as part of the repository history.

External and affiliate links

Links to regulators, support organisations and other websites take you outside Burnham Rio. Those organisations control their own data processing. Casino links on the homepage contain affiliate and campaign identifiers that allow a partner to attribute a referral. The links are clearly disclosed and the destination or affiliate network may process click, device and conversion information under its own policy.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the applicable law and our role in processing your data, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or an explanation of processing. We may need information to verify a request without collecting more than necessary. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Because the current contact route is public, request a private channel without posting personal data.

Security, retention and changes

No internet service can promise absolute security. We minimise collection by avoiding visitor accounts and unnecessary trackers. Data should be retained only as long as needed for security, editorial accountability or legal obligations. Material policy changes will receive a new effective date; a date will not be changed merely to create an appearance of freshness.
